The Telluride Mountain Run is back!
Started in 2013 by Dakota Jones, the original 38 mile Telluride Mountain Run is back. We've made a couple of changes to the course and added two shorter distances to the event that are guaranteed to leave you breathless.
The Telluride Mountain Run is a challenging and technical race in the San Juan Mountains above the beautiful historic mining town of Telluride, Colorado. With three challenging and technical routes, runners navigate old mining roads, singletrack and alpine tundra over mountain passes, exposed ridgelines, and high summits. TMR is extremely difficult with big elevation gain at altitudes above 13,000 ft. The focus of the race is the experience: the burn of high elevation, the striking colors of the San Juans, and the reward of finishing right where you started.
