Race Weekend Schedule
24/40/65-mile Packet Pick up
Check-in and packet pick up will be Friday, Aug 21, from 4:30pm to 7:00pm at Telluride Town Park in the core area under the covered picnic area.
65-mile- There will be a mandatory safety meeting near the check-in at 5:00pm
24/40-mile runners- If you absolutely can't make it on Friday, you can pick up your bib on Saturday morning. Please try to make it to this, it’s a lot easier on us to get it out of the way Friday night.
Hill Climb/14-mile Packet Pick up
Check-in and packet pick up will be Saturday, Aug 22, from 12:00pm to 6:00pm at the TMR finish line in the core area of Telluride Town Park. If you absolutely can't make it on Saturday, you can pick up your bib on Sunday morning at the starting line at Oak Street Plaza. Please try to make it to this, it’s a lot easier on us to get it out of the way Friday night.
Saturday
Race Start:
All Saturday distances start at Telluride Town Park
40-mile at 5:00am- bring a headlamp
24-mile at 5:30am- you might want a headlamp
65-mile at 6:00am
*40/65-mile runners, remember to bring your drop bags.
Race Finish:
The finish line for all Saturday runs is at Telluride Town Park. We’ll have beer and snacks when you cross the finish line. Please remember to bring your ID to receive a wristband if you plan on drinking beer. Please hang out and cheer on other runners as they finish.
Sunday
Race Start:
All Sunday distances start at Oak Street Plaza (the base of the Gondola)
14-mile at 7:00am
Hill Climb 9:00am
*Hill Climb runners, remember to bring your finish line drop bags before 8:30am
Race Finish:
The finish line for the 14-mile run is at Telluride Town Park. We’ll have beer and snacks when you cross the finish line. Please remember to bring your ID to receive a wristband if you plan on drinking beer. Please hang out and cheer on other 14-mile and 65-mile runners as they finish.
The Hill Climb will finish at the top of Gold Hill on the Telluride Ski Area. Note that a hike will be required to get back down to town. There are two options for descent:
Hike 3 miles down to the See Forever Trail to the San Sophia Station and ride the Gondola down to Telluride.
Take an even more scenic, but longer, hike down to Telluride through Bear Creek Basin, 6 miles.
